Congrats go out to my man Scott and his 72 Camaro for finishing second in the V8 Mild Class. He finished to the Z06 from 1320. He ran a 12.5 and after that it is was all 12.6's. On the final glory pass Scott blew a piston and finished the run with a 13.51 to the Vettes 12.60. It would have been nice to see Scott win it all before he leaves town oh well we'll get it for him.
Jr and Sammy reped well in V6 Mild with there Camaro's of the 96 and 99 Years. Jr could not get decent traction all night and bowed out in the third round after his buy back. He actually beat the SHO(who by the way lost to Sammy in the first race of the day)but after the officals failed to hand him a slip they wer to rerun to determine who goes to the finals. Well we were tying to mount some drag raidals(thanX Sammy)when they would not go on. Damn lug nuts. He missed his Lane call and was DQ'd. Too bad we had it on tape of him beating the SHO and the guy claimed he beat Jr. Oh well next time its on Jr and you'll get him.
Sammy lost to the Porsche by .02 of a second. He stalled a bit high and got too much wheel spin. He rep'd well though. Love you Sammy.
Scott(another one)and his 68 Camaro got to the third round where he faced his best friend and rival Scott and the 72 Camaro. He bowed out gracfully and helped cheer on the remaining members. He could not get rid of a bog that would happen on his launch and would have to wait and then take off. Its cool Scott, I know you'll work it out later in Washington. Have fun up there.
First event for the new club netted us some good results. Hopefully they will be better next time. F-Body El Paso way to run it baby.
LoL. Sorry we are getting the piX currently and are making a movie outta the sunday races. I'll put them on as soon as I can if I have them.
